How does RaiseUp help nonprofits raise funds?

RaiseUp has the opportunity to work with some amazing nonprofit organizations. But how do we work with them to spread awareness and raise funds? Great question! Let us tell you.

First comes the cause …

When an individual registers for free at RaiseUp, you get to choose a cause to support and raise funds for. The causes include:

• Children/Orphans – supporting children in need around the world
• Essential Needs – providing basic needs to those without of living in poverty,
  such as food, water, shelter and Jesus!
• Human Trafficking Prevention – helping to support the awareness and
  prevention of sex trafficking, forced labor and exploited children
• Disaster Relief & Refugees – help to support the recovery after disasters and
  support refugees who seek shelter from harm

And then the nonprofit …

When you choose a cause to support, you also have the option to select which nonprofit you’d like to receive the funds that you raise. Behind each cause is one or more nonprofits. You can choose which one you want to receive your funds when you register.

There are so many great nonprofits that are working hard to help with the above causes. They have made a great impact already and continue to do so with incredible volunteers and a huge heart for the cause. So we want to help them!

For example, I personally have chosen Human Trafficking Prevention. I then chose Eye Heart World to receive the funds because they are close to home and I love what they do.

But what does RaiseUp do to help these nonprofits?

RaiseUp wants to help the nonprofits in two ways:

1. Awareness

We want to assist the nonprofit in raising awareness for their organization and for the cause that they are helping with. In order for people to help with the problems that exist, we first have to know about them!

2. Raise Funds

We want to help the nonprofit organization to raise funds. A lot of time is spend raising funds for nonprofits which can be time consuming and take time away from the work that they want to do to help others. RaiseUp allows
people to raise funds for these nonprofits by simply doing their regular online shopping.

How does RaiseUp work with the nonprofit organizations?

RaiseUp wants to make sure that each nonprofit gets the most out of the RaiseUp program. We work alongside them to share the program with their current supports, as well as do our best to gain extra support and raise awareness of their organization through our marketing and social media efforts.
